RETREATS

A Pilates retreat offers time to deepen your practice, restore your energy, and reconnect — with your body, your goals, and a like-minded community.

Each retreat brings together a small group of people from diverse walks of life, creating space for meaningful conversation, nourishing food, shared experiences, and new perspectives in inspiring surroundings. Whether you’re looking to recharge, move with more ease, build strength, or simply enjoy time in nature, my retreats are designed to support your health and wellbeing in every sense. You’ll leave feeling stronger, more centred, and connected — not just to others, but to yourself.

September 2024 retreat

The Quaives, near Canterbury

In September 2024, I hosted a three-day retreat at The Quaives, a charming family farmstead nestled in the heart of the Kent countryside. With peaceful gardens, a beautiful studio, and comfortable accommodation, it offered the perfect space to step away from daily distractions and reconnect through movement, breath, and stillness.

Each morning began with calming meditation to centre the mind and gently ease into the day. Guests participated in two Pilates classes — one dynamic and energising, the other restorative — each designed to build strength, lengthen muscles, and increase body awareness. Between sessions, there was time to rest, read, walk in nature, or simply enjoy the calm rhythm of the day. The setting fostered a warm, supportive atmosphere, with guests quickly forming a close-knit group. Shared meals, laughter, and quiet reflection helped everyone settle fully into the experience.

By the end of the retreat, the change was clear — guests left recharged, more connected to their bodies, and grounded in a calm they could take home.

April 2025 retreat

42 Acres, Somerset

In April 2025, we gathered for a transformative retreat at 42 Acres, an estate and nature reserve tucked away in the Somerset countryside. The peaceful, restorative setting provided an ideal space for slowing down, recharging, and reconnecting both body and mind with nature’s rhythms. Each day started with early morning meditation to centre the mind and set a calm, intentional tone.

Guests took part in two Pilates classes daily — designed to build strength, improve flexibility, and nurture overall wellbeing. A dedicated Pilates clinic offered personalised support, allowing attendees to address individual needs and receive tailored guidance to deepen their practice. With nourishing seasonal food, wild natural beauty, and the warmth of a small, welcoming group, the retreat offered a rare chance to restore balance and reconnect with what truly matters. By the final day, guests were moving with greater ease, feeling stronger, and carrying home a renewed sense of energy, clarity, and calm.

Upcoming retreat

Friday 24th – Sunday 26th April 2026

42 Acres, Somerset

After last year’s retreat at 42 Acres, we’re going back. We were all blown away by the peacefulness of the space, the surrounding nature, and the nourishing, straight-from-the-ground food.

Across two nights, guests will take part in four Pilates sessions designed to build strength, improve mobility, and deepen body awareness, alongside guided meditation to centre the mind and establish a calm rhythm for the weekend. A workshop-style session will offer time to explore individual questions and refine technique, with space between sessions to walk, swim, read, or simply enjoy the quiet surroundings.

This retreat offers a balanced, grounded experience and a true sense of connection with nature. To find out more or reserve your place for April — or if you can’t make this retreat but would like details of the next one — please contact me directly.
