FAQ

It’s easy to get started. I use a simple online booking system to manage all my live classes. Once you’ve set yourself up with an account and you’ve complete a short pre-screening form, you’ll be able to book. sessions with just a few clicks. After booking, you’ll receive a secure link to join the class from home. Interested? Contact me to get started.

Once you’re signed up, you’ll have the option to receive friendly reminders on the morning of each class, so you never miss a session. You can also view the full Pilates class schedule anytime via my online calendar.

I keep class sizes small — no more than 12 participants — so I can observe everyone clearly on a large screen. I demonstrate each exercise multiple times and then check in to see how you’re moving, offering both general teaching cues and verbal corrections to help you move safely and effectively. Over time, I get to know each participant’s needs, preferences, and any injuries, which allows me to offer modifications and alternatives that support your progress. It’s a truly personalised experience, even online. I’m always online five minutes before class starts and stay afterward to answer any questions you may have.

You’ll just need a mat to get started. Occasionally, we use small Pilates props like resistance bands or soft balls to enhance certain exercises— but don’t worry if you don’t have them. I always offer effective bodyweight alternatives and modifications to suit your at-home setup. The goal is to make sure you get a great workout with what you have.

Yes — I’m fully qualified in pre- and postnatal Pilates, as well as common orthopaedic issues, and I have extensive experience supporting clients in these areas. When you get in touch to join my online Pilates classes, please let me know about any injuries or conditions. I’ll advise you on whether the class is appropriate for you, and if so, I’ll suggest suitable modifications to keep you moving safely. Please note: These sessions aren’t suitable if you have osteoporosis, or if you’re in the second or third trimester of pregnancy.

That depends on your fitness level and previous exercise experience. Even if you’re new to Pilates, you might already be familiar with some of the movements if you’ve done other forms of training. To see if my online Pilates classes are a good fit, start with my free 30- minute Beginner’s Guide to Pilates. This will give you a feel for my teaching style — I’m known for being challenging but supportive, so don’t worry if you can’t complete everything right away. If you’re reasonably active and enjoy pushing yourself, you’ll be just fine.
